NSA's thermal protection proximity suits are designed for maintenance repairs in high heat areas such as furnaces. These aluminized clothing proximity suits are designed for ambient temperatures of no greater then 600 F, with radiant heat protection up to 2950 F. These proximity suits feature a unique Neoprene®-coated polycotton liner, which serves as an excellent thermal protection vapor barrier from hot liquids or steam. NSA heat protection approach suits, while providing approximately 95 percent heat reflectivity, are unlined. The standard hard-hat style, fiberglass-shell headgear features a 7- by 11-inch panoramic window and a gold-film-covered window shield that locks on with an aluminum bracket. NSA's proximity and approach thermal protection aluminized clothing come in a variety of sizes and styles.
